New Year's Ideas for Whittier
Straight answers from your local party rental crew.
Can we have a bounce house at an indoor New Year's party in Whittier?
In the right room, absolutely. We look at floor space, ceiling height and power, so describe your gym or hall when you call and we'll suggest a unit. Our dry slides are worth a look, too.
What's a good daytime New Year's party for kids?
Try a noon countdown. Little ones get their big moment before naptime, and a bounce house or combo keeps them busy the rest of the afternoon.
Is the mechanical bull a fit for a New Year's Eve party?
It's our go-to for adult and company New Year's parties. The bull comes with an operator, and it needs a 24 x 24 foot space, 12 feet of height and two outlets. It's $675 for the first 2 hours.
What should we know about winter weather in the mountains?
Winter in the mountains keeps everyone guessing. Keep an eye on the forecast and call us if it turns; outdoor inflatables are never set up in high winds, lightning or icy conditions.
When should we book for New Year's weekend?
New Year's Eve is Thursday, December 31, 2026, and New Year's Day is Friday, January 1, 2027, so parties cluster on just a few days. Call 828-827-5669 early. Holiday and peak rates may apply.

What Families Are Saying
New Year's FAQ
Common questions from Swain County families and groups.
Can you set up a bounce house indoors for a New Year's party?
Often, yes. Church gyms, school gyms and community halls can work well when there's enough floor space, ceiling height and power. Tell us about your room when you call 828-827-5669, and we'll recommend a unit that fits.
What's a fun daytime New Year's idea for little kids?
Try a noon countdown party. Kids get their big moment before naptime, and a bounce house or combo keeps them busy all afternoon. It's a lot easier than keeping little ones up till midnight.
Can we rent the mechanical bull for a New Year's Eve party?
Yes. Our full-size mechanical bull comes with an operator who adjusts the speed for each rider, from gentle to wild. It needs a 24 x 24 foot setup area and two outlets. Call 828-827-5669 to check your date.
What if it snows or the roads ice over?
Mountain winter weather has a mind of its own. If the forecast looks rough for your date, call us and we'll talk through your options. Inflatables are never set up outdoors in high winds, lightning or icy conditions. Weather looking rough? Let us know by the day before your event and you'll get a rain check good for 1 year. Need to cancel for another reason? Let us know at least 7 days ahead and you'll get the same 1-year rain check.
How far ahead should we book for New Year's?
As soon as you pick a date. New Year's Eve and New Year's Day parties all land on the same few days, so call 828-827-5669 early and we'll check what's open.
