Church Event Tips for Sylva
Good to know before you book.
What works for Vacation Bible School?
A bounce house or combo makes a great closing-night celebration, and a dry slide gives kids a big finale. On hot days, ask about a water slide. Call 828-827-5669 for a rental quote.
Can kids ride the train around the church grounds?
Yes. The Mountain Majestic Express is trackless, so it runs on flat surfaces like parking lots and fields. Kids ride right aboard, and there's seating for adults too.
Which rentals fit a fall festival or trunk-or-treat?
The trackless train is the star of a trunk-or-treat, and an obstacle course keeps the big kids busy. Tell us your crowd and space and we'll help you pick.
What about homecomings, fellowship days and youth nights?
Train rides are a hit with every generation at homecoming, and obstacle courses and dry slides are great for youth nights. Moving inside? Tell us about your fellowship hall or gym and we'll recommend units that fit.

Church Event FAQ
Answers to what folks ask before they call.
What rentals work best for Vacation Bible School?
A bounce house or combo makes a great closing-night celebration, and a dry slide gives kids a big finale without the water mess. On hot summer days, ask about a water slide. Call 828-827-5669 for a rental quote.
Can the trackless train give rides in our church parking lot?
Yes. The Mountain Majestic Express is trackless, so it runs on flat surfaces like parking lots and fields. It has seating for kids and adults, so the whole church family can ride.
What should we rent for a church fall festival or trunk-or-treat?
The trackless train is the star of a trunk-or-treat: kids ride right aboard around the parking lot between cars. Add an obstacle course for the big kids and a bounce house or combo for the little ones, and tell us your crowd and space so we can help you pick.
Do you rent for homecomings, fellowship days and youth nights?
Yes. Train rides and bounce houses make homecoming and dinner-on-the-grounds days fun for every generation, and obstacle courses and dry slides are a hit at youth nights. If you'd rather be inside, tell us about your fellowship hall or gym and we'll recommend units that fit.
How far ahead should we book, and what if the weather turns?
As soon as your date is on the calendar, since summer VBS weeks and October festival weekends fill up. Inflatables are never used in high winds or lightning. Weather looking rough? Let us know by the day before your event and you'll get a rain check good for 1 year. Need to cancel for another reason? Let us know at least 7 days ahead and you'll get the same 1-year rain check.
