Christmas Ideas for Franklin
Quick answers to the questions Franklin families ask us most.
Can we rent a trackless train for a Christmas parade in Franklin?
It's one of our favorite jobs. The train rolls at about 5 mph, right at parade pace, with kids riding aboard. Before we commit to a spot in a Franklin parade, we go over the route and staging with the organizers.
What works for a tree lighting or community Christmas night?
The train keeps kids happy during the wait. It needs a flat surface, like a parking lot, park or closed street, and gives little ones a ride they'll remember. See our Christmas train guide for more ideas.
Which rentals fit a church Christmas program or company party?
The train works for church Christmas programs, school Christmas events and company family nights. For a daytime kids' spot, add the Christmas Wonderland mega combo. Call 828-827-5669 for a rental quote.
What is the Christmas Wonderland mega combo?
The Christmas Wonderland mega combo is a Christmas-themed bounce house and slide in one unit. It's our featured holiday inflatable, and it pairs nicely with train rides.
How does cold December weather affect rentals?
Kids bounce fine on a cold, dry day, but wind, lightning or ice means the inflatables stay down. Keep inflatable time to daylight hours, and ask us about indoor options if your Franklin venue has a gym or hall.
When should Franklin groups book for December?
Parade committees usually call in October, since route and staging planning takes some back-and-forth. Christmas weekends go fast, so call 828-827-5669 as soon as you have a date.

Can the trackless train ride in a Christmas parade?
Yes. The Mountain Majestic Express is parade-ready. Kids ride right aboard, and it tops out around 5 mph, a normal parade pace. Every parade has its own route and lineup rules, so call 828-827-5669 and we'll talk through the route and staging with you.
Do you rent the train for tree lightings and Christmas events in Franklin?
Yes. We rent the Mountain Majestic Express for tree lightings, church and school Christmas events, community nights and holiday parties. Kids can take rides while they wait on Santa. Call 828-827-5669 for a rental quote.
Do you have a Christmas-themed bounce house?
Yes. Our Christmas Wonderland mega combo is a Christmas-themed bounce and slide that fits right in at a holiday party or daytime community event. Call us to check your date and space.
Can inflatables be used in cold weather?
Kids bounce happily on cold, dry days. Inflatables are never used in high winds, lightning or icy conditions, and December days are short in the mountains, so plan inflatable time for daylight. If your event is indoors, tell us about the space and we'll help you pick a unit.
