Train Tips for Cherokee
Here's how we'd plan it, from the first call to the last ride.
How does a trackless train work?
It runs without a track, so any flat, open surface works: a church lot, a school field, a park or a quiet street. Music and a whistle are part of the ride.
Can the train ride in a parade?
Yes. It's parade-ready at about 5 mph, a normal parade pace, and kids ride right aboard. Each parade has its own route and lineup rules, so we plan staging with your organizers first.
Who can ride?
Everyone. There's seating for kids and adults, so the whole family can climb aboard together.
What events is it good for?
Birthdays, school and church events, festivals, community celebrations and company family days. In December it's our go-to for Christmas events too.
How much is a trackless train rental?
Train rentals are $750 for the first 2 hours. Holiday and peak rates may apply; call 828-827-5669 and we'll put together a quote for your date.
